Leung Tak Wing was accepted to study in the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with a scholarship where she graduated with a master degree in orchestra training. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Performance from the Royal Academy of Music and a Bachelor of Music from Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts with several scholarships.
Leung now resides in Hong Kong as a bassoonist and teacher. She is always invited to collaborate with local and oversea orchestras such as The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and The Macao Orchestra. She is now a core member of Hong Kong New Music Ensemble, City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong, and she was invited to be guest soloist in the concert - Vivaldi Unmasked by CCOHK with a great success. She has joined Viva Pipers since 2015 and has been collaborating with the Premiere Performances of Hong Kong under the “Chamber Music In Schools” programme to give live performances at local and international schools in Hong Kong. She also a founding member of Reed4ble, an innovative group which present an unique interpretation of classical instrument to the audience.
